Olivet University Riverside campus welcomed Pastor Matthew Nevills, Senior Pastor of Anza Baptist Church, as the guest speaker for its Wednesday service. Nevills preached from Philemon 1:17 to 22 and delivered a message titled “The Lord Is Teaching and Training Us to Become Good Slaves.”

Preaching from 1 Corinthians 1:24–29, Pastor Reece delivered a message titled “The Person That God Uses,” centering on the extraordinary ways God works through individuals whom the world may overlook. He reminded the congregation that God’s resources, knowledge, and vision far surpass human understanding, allowing Him to use anyone wholly surrendered to His purposes.
Olivet University welcomed the Valley Gospel Chapel community to campus on Wednesday as part of its ongoing Chapel Sermon Series, creating a vibrant evening of worship, Scripture, and fellowship.
