Christian Values in Olivet's Marketing Management Course

Olivet University's College of Business delves into the foundations of marketing, marketing goals, strategies and tactics considering Christian values for the 2013 spring quarter. The Marketing Management course, led by OCB faculty member Olisa Christian, introduce students to the role of marketing in creating successful long term business growth, understanding important marketing steps such as connecting to customers, building strong brands, shaping market offerings to deliver and communicate values and shaping product offerings in a competitive environment. 

The list continues as the business course covers web based marketing approach for an internet product offering, complete a data gathering and write a marketing case analysis and complete a market research project for a business case.

A lecture and case study format of instruction will be used for practical development of marketing skills of students in this course and the theme of web marketing will be emphasized throughout the course to allow students to powerfully respond to the challenges of the new media era.

Olisa Christian holds an MBA degree in Computer Information Systems from CUNY Zicklin School of Business in New York. She has had a rich working experience in the web-marketing field and is prepared to instruct Olivet University business students the foundations for marketing management.
