Olivet School of Language and Education (OSLE) at the Riverside campus recently had an academic meeting to discuss the preparation for its ESL program and TESOL program in Spring 2022. The conclusion was centered on the creative and diverse ESL courses offered, and TESOL faculty preparation.
Olivet Institute for Global Strategic Studies Director Dr. William Wagner hosted over 30 global Christian leaders last week in Houston, Texas for the first-ever Global Strategy Forum symposium. Participating from Olivet University were members of the Zinderdrof School of Doctoral Studies committee: Dr. Tom Cowley, Dr. Ray Tallman, and Dr. Mark Wagner. Professor Mark and Calla Li from Olivet's San Francisco campus attended as volunteers to help decorate the event, arrange technical equipment, drive, and photograph.
A team of faculty from Olivet Institute of Technology attended the European Conversational AI Summit in San Francisco. Since conversational AI is one of the key areas that OIT's Innovation Center heavily invested in for new projects, the team was able to engage in some meaningful conversations with other professionals in the summit.

Several times in the Psalms we find the admonition to "sing a new song." As worship leaders and church musicians this should immediately get our attention. We are always looking for a new song to learn and then teach to our congregations.
