OBS Students Learn Implementation of Business Strategy

October 10, 2018

The onsite Business Strategy program in the Olivet Business School (OBS) operates its class from Olivet University's Manhattan site.

The program aims to develop students' ability to think strategically, analyze the competitive and complex environment, and promote their operation skills to implement strategic plans. Instructor Lisa M. Tolliver will guide students to explore the underlying theory and frameworks that provide foundations of a successful business strategy and the tools needed to understand them.

In the first class, the instructor explained some basic business concepts about strategic management. In addition, she also gave a few examples of successful business models for clearer understanding.

The program is believed to inspire the class students to come up with ideas to promote their business skills and implement the strategies for business expansion.

Thanksgiving Break (office closed)A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. (Psalm 100, KJV)
