Olivet Theological College and Seminary held the first orientation in 2020. Gathered at the Riverside main campus courtyard building, newly admitted Master of Divinity and Bachelor of Theology students were introduced to peers and faculty. They shared their personal journey leading them to the seminary and were warmly welcomed by the student body.
The event offers an opportunity for faculty and staff to share about what to expect in classes, and how to take advantage of what the program offers. A brief lecture by Dr. Mak explained the differences between a seminary and a church. She then introduced current courses and academic policies. A Q&A session was held to clarify the information. Students also had the opportunity to meet with the academic advising team members to answer questions or help resolve any issues regarding course enrollment.
All of the staff at OTCS wishes to offer service for theology students towards a fruitful quarter.
